If you want a career in driving a heavy rigid vehicle, and want to upgrade your truck licence, then ACE Training’s Heavy Rigid Licence is the course for you. Learn how to efficiently and safely control all vehicle functions required by VicRoads. This truck licence will allow you to drive a heavy rigid vehicle 8 tonnes GVM or above with 3 or more axles. Our trainers will provide a personal one-on-one lesson on your choice of Automatic or Non-Synchro Trucks.

You’ll learn how to drive and operate a heavy combination vehicle safely and effectively with this course. A heavy combination vehicle can be a prime mover, single semi-trailer, or rigid vehicle with a trailer weighing more than 9 tonne GVM. This course will teach you to control all vehicle functions, monitor the vehicle’s performance, and how to couple and uncouple a trailer.

Upgrade your licence to a Medium Rigid Licence with ACE Training. Our experienced trainers will give you the theory, skills, and experience to operate a medium rigid truck in this course. This licence will allow you to drive any 2 axle rigid vehicle greater than 8 tonnes GVM.
