ACE Training will deliver the training through classroom instruction and in realistic learning environments. Successful students who pass the assessment by our qualified assessor will be issued an application form for the correct licensing body. You will be responsible for the payment of fees for your Heavy Rigid Licence application upgrade at a VicRoads customer service centre of your choice. 

Pickup locations are for student collection and drop-off and may differ from training and assessment locations. 

A complete course overview, including pickup location details, will be provided upon completion of the enrolment process.

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Applicants must have held or have held an Australian driver’s licence for at least 2 years – including those on “P” plates.
  • Applicants must pass an eyesight test.
  • Applicants must be familiar with the VicRoads Truck and Bus handbook before the course commences.
  • Applicants must meet the entry criteria for medical and physical standards- refer to the VicRoads website.
