  • Read and interpret traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes
  • Monitor traffic flow
  • Control traffic to protect crew and pedestrians
  • Use a stop-slow bat to control traffic
  • Understand and use hand signals following state or territory regulatory authority
  • Monitor traffic and make adjustments for changing conditions
  • Communicate using a two-way radio

ACE Training’s qualified assessors will assess the participants’ competence through a series of verbal and written questions and practical demonstrations. A full course overview will be provided upon completion of the enrolment process.

  • Applicants must be aged 16+ at the time of course commencement.
  • Applicants must have completed the Traffic Management course.
  • Applicants must have photo identification.
  • Applicants must have a USI Number (Unique Student Identifier).
  • It is highly recommended that applicants have safety footwear & hi-vis shirt/vest.
