Excavator + Skid Steer Training Package

ACE Training will deliver the training through classroom instruction and in realistic learning environments. Successful students who pass the assessment by our qualified assessor will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for:

RIIMPO320F Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations
RIIMPO318F Conduct Civil Construction Skid Steer Loader Operations
RIIHAN308F Load and Unload Plant

ACE Training’s qualified assessors will assess the participants’ competence through a series of verbal and written questions and practical demonstrations. A full course overview will be provided upon completion of the enrolment process.

Class size minimums apply.

• Applicants must be aged 16+ at the time of course commencement.    
• Applicants must have photo identification.      
• Applicants must have a USI Number (Unique Student Identifier).
• Applicants must have safety footwear & a hi-vis shirt/vest.

ACE Training has reviewed the structure and delivery of this unit and determined that Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is not offered for this course.

Due to the short duration of the program, the time and effort required for a student to gather sufficient evidence and complete a formal RPL application is likely to exceed the time it would take to complete the training and assessment. In addition, the RTO resources required to assess and validate RPL applications for this course make the process not viable or efficient in this context.

This decision aligns with the guidance outlined in the Outcome Standards Policy Guidance (Standards for RTOs 2025), which recognises that RPL may not be appropriate or practical in all circumstances.
